Meg Schroeder, MS, ALC

Meg Schroeder is an Associate Licensed Counselor with Wiregrass Behavioral Group. She graduated with a Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. She has worked as a drug abuse outpatient counselor for court mandated clients. Also, she has experience in assessments and referrals, as well dually diagnosed teens, and as a teen group leader in a residential treatment center. She has experience with children and teens experiencing substance abuse problems, family issues, anxiety, depression, and social skills deficits, ADHD, and autism.

Meg believes the concepts of positive psychology paired with cognitive-behavioral therapy are good choices for counseling children and teens. Establishing a good therapeutic relationship is key to good outcomes in therapy. She believes helping clients reach their therapeutic goals makes counseling a success.
