Alexia Powell MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Mrs. Powell is a dual certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She has ten years of nursing experience in various settings and positions including Intensive Care Unit (ICU), surgery, and home health. She obtained her Associate’s degree in Nursing from Wallace Community College in 2015, her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Troy University in 2016, and her Master’s from Troy University in 2021. Previously, she was a Nurse Practitioner at Digestive Health Specialists for four years, during which time she obtained her Post-Master’s Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from The University of Alabama in 2024. Her extensive experience allows her to provide quality, holistic, and compassionate care to individuals with various psychiatric diagnoses. When she is not providing exceptional care, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing with her dogs and cats, and going to the beach.
