Kari Regehr, MS, LPC

Kari Elizabeth Regehr is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She obtained a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University, she has expertise in crisis intervention, psychological first aid, and facilitating psychological, behavioral, and social wellness. Kari provides empathetic, evidence-based therapy services. Her commitment to accessibility is evident in her flexibility with scheduling and responsiveness, ensuring continuous care for her diverse clientele.

Previously, Kari worked as a Clinical Mental Health Residential Counselor at East Central Mental Health Department in Troy, AL, where she managed over 60 mental health residents, coordinated legal proceedings, and maintained meticulous client documentation. Her role involved significant collaboration with residential coordinators and other agencies to enhance care quality.

Kari’s early clinical experience was enriched by over 600 hours of internship at the same institution, engaging extensively in group therapy, individual counseling, and community-based activities.

Kari is also an active member of the American Counseling Association and has contributed to the field through presentations at conferences and guest speaking engagements. Her academic background is further distinguished by her leadership roles and honors, including a cum laude Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Leadership Studies from Troy University.
